25 This is not the student’s real name (nor is it the name of any other student in our study). For the analyses below, students’ achievement has been grouped for each subject according to whether their results improved, stayed relatively the same, or declined between each phase of the study. For the purposes of this simple analysis, scores that stayed relatively the same were calculated using the 95 percent confidence interval between each of the phases.
